Team TW is excited to announce Brett Deukmejian as our February 2023 Athlete of the Month! Congratulations Brett.
Brett has really emerged as a stand out athlete these last few months. After a brief hiatus, he returned stronger, more consistent and more determined than ever. Brett stands out specifically for his work on the fundamentals. He is always first to take feedback or ask for a cue to improve his barbell lift. He is constantly working to improve the strength of his pull ups, the efficiency of his squat, the power of his deadlift. You name it, Brett is actively working on it. He is a prime example of consistency, a word we throw around quite a bit, but also one we might not always understand the true meaning of. Well, if you need an example, look to Brett. There is no better way to improve upon your fitness than the way he has chosen to go about it. By showing up, putting the work in, and putting all out effort into every single rep and second of the workout physically possible. Brett emulates the TW athlete values at his core and is someone we can all look up to as a role model and an overall genuinely good person. We are so thankful to have someone like him as a part of our community and fit fam, thank you Brett!

AOM Closing thoughts… When I first started at Tradewinds, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew it would be different than what I was used to but wanted to give it a try. I absolutely feel in love with it. Not only was it a place where I could go and get a solid workout in or accomplish a new goal I had for the week, but somewhere that shed positivity on my day. The coaches are amazing and everyone I have done group classes with are always encouraging you to be the best possible version of yourself.
