This month, we’re so excited to celebrate our Athlete of the Month… Cassie
For over 4 years, Cassie has been a consistent, dedicated part of our community. Through the constant demands of running a business, raising a family, and wearing more hats than most of us can imagine, she continues to show up—for herself and her health.
What makes Cassie so special isn’t just how busy she is—it’s how grounded and focused she remains in the midst of it all. She doesn’t look for shortcuts. She puts in the work, stays patient, and keeps moving forward, even when life gets full (which is often).
She’s also someone who brings an incredible level of passion and excellence to everything she does. While many people know her for her talent and success outside the gym, what we admire most is who she is inside it—humble, hardworking, and always willing to put in the effort to keep improving.
Cassie, we’re so proud of you and grateful to have you as part of our community. You are such a powerful example of what it looks like to commit to yourself, no matter how full life gets.

TW: Where are you from?
Cassie: Duxbury, MA
TW: What do you do for work?
Cassie: Chef/Owner Sarma restaurant
TW: How long have you been at Tradewinds?
Cassie: 4 years
TW: What motivated you to try Tradewinds?
Cassie: I wanted to be stronger and healthier for my children.
TW: What class or session time do you usually attend?
Cassie: Personal training in the am
TW: Did you have a fitness background prior to starting at Tradewinds?
Cassie: Not really but I could walk the earth like forest gump(except he ran!). I love to walk!
TW: If you could program your dream workout, what would it be?
Cassie: Bench lifting, RDL’s and glute bridges all day.
TW: What is your favorite food?
Cassie: Tacos
TW: What is your proudest accomplishment since joining Tradewinds?
Cassie: Pushups!
TW: How has Tradewinds helped you in your everyday life?
Cassie: Being mindful and listening to my body
TW: What do you like to do outside the gym?
Cassie: Hang with my husband, kiddos and two little baby frenchies
TW: What is your favorite song to workout to?
Cassie: Enter sandman, Metallica
TW: What’s one thing you’d tell someone who is curious about trying Tradewinds but not sure if they could do it?
Cassie: You can, just be consistent and show up. Showing up is half the battle.
Athlete of the Month Closing Thoughts:
Tradewinds is such an endearing community and I love that it can be whatever you need it to be—a workout, a therapy session or just 30 minutes of time dedicated to your well being.
It’s given me more mobility, confidence and a sense of pride knowing I can push through the tough stuff. I’ve always been a head down, work hard kind of person but now I feel more motivated to reach goals with my head pointed to the sky.
A big thanks to Andy and Mary for being a constant presence and showing me that I CAN. Your kindness and support has helped me reach my goals both in and out of the gym!
